View Full Version : Verizon BB/data coverage in Santa Clara, CA

So I am looking at a couple things and want a little more info and hopefully others can give voice their opinion. So I am in Santa Clara, CA and I would like to know how the Verizon coverage is regarding data and emailing/BB functionality. I currently have a tmobile BB and i will say that the BB coverage is not bad. It gives me a "Searching for network" message once in a while but I can live with it. I am curious to know how much better or worst Verizon's BB connection is around this area compared to Tmobiles? Verizon's voice connectivity is WAY better then tmobile and I am assuming that the voice and data portion probably work hand in hand using the same towers? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!(y)

aahh ok thanks!!...i had seen this before...i was just kinda curious from the end user experiences what they thought when comparing verizon and tmobile data plans....thanks for the info though!!

I currently have Verizon data plan and I'm based out of Fremont. I have no complaints whatsoever with the coverage. I am in the San Jose/ San Francisco area quite often and I cant remember the last time I ran into a "searching for network" message. When compared with the data plan with other carriers, sure Verizon is priced higher, but you definitely get what you pay for. Hope this helps!

I stumble around the Peninsula from Sonoma to San Jose and am happy with the EVDO coverage on my 7250
