I need help

I just purchased a 7130e Verizon Blackberry. I need help setting up email. I do not have a BES I am setting everything up at home on a BIS. I installed the desktop software and went to the Verizon/Blackberry website and set up my accounts. The only way I am receiving any emails is to forward them to my BB email address. I am sure this is stupid to most of you, but I am very confused and any help would be appreciated.

if you go into the BIS and add a new account, are you able to provide your email address, username and password? It should allow you to then pull your email automatically. Not sure I understand the forwarding comment. Are you manually doing this from your account? I have the same set up and it should be pretty straight forward.

Could it be that my bellsouth email comes in to my outlook? I am going to change that to leave a copy on the server. Again, thanks for the help.
