Cant Log into Desktop Manager

Hello all, i think this is in the right section as this is rim software i hope,,,,, Right ,have a new blackberry was on t.mobile so i had it flashed and unlocked, works great(no browser icon but i know what thats about and have opera ready to put on it) so i have d/l Desktop Manager but when i try to connect the 2 a window comes up on the computer asking me for the blackberry password which i input, BUT it wont take it and just comes up with less trys left.now this is my password i typing in as its the one i use when i switch on my blackerry 7290, please help as i cant transfer this opera browser till i sort this, ps great board this,has everything(y)

The same password that is used to unlock your Blackberry itself?

yes typing the same password as to unlock blackberry when i turn it on.and its a numeric password so no caps lock on,helpppppppppp

If it's a numeric password on BB start-up, then use the same key sequence but the letters instead. (ie. 2383 would be erxr on the PC side). Try that.
