Hey Noeffectx... the term "fruit" isn't politically correct in this day and age.

Anyone know if a similar-featured (but non suretype) model is in development?

Hey Noeffectx... the term "fruit" isn't politically correct in this day and age.

i didnt meant that way, my appology. i was talking about the berry family strawberry, cranberry, blueberry, etc which all of them are fruits by the way ;) and blackberry came from waterloo, canada.

MobileRC asked what blackberry was, with 270+ postings on this forum, i'm sure MobileRC was joking about what blackberry was and so am I 8-)

alright so the 7100 then came 8700.. now comes the 8100.. does that mean it is a step below the 8700?

anyone know the processor speed and all that extra good stuff?

why are they going down in series numbers now istead of up like 9100 for example?

im guessing that 8100 might be a little slower due to all that extra meida capabilities added on. hope it doenst freeze up like the treos or WM5 based cells.

BG do you happen to know about the processor speeds? same one as 8700 maybe? or faster? why the downgrade in model # then?

The 8100 is in the same lineup as the 7100 (Suretype Lineup) it's the next thing in that lineup, which would naturally make the device which follows the 7100 an 8100.

The 8700 is in the QWERTY lineup, and hence the appearance of a "backslide"

Same thing when the 7100 came out, there was already a 7290 and 7280, which were older models, and clearly the 7100 was faster and more improved than those two devices.

Make sense? (y)

Kwang, your posts, do indeed, mention you have a 8890. That does not mean you might not previously owned a BB. However, from your questions/comments, we should assume you have not.

Kwang, I'm not sure what you said as I didnt read it before it was deleted out of your original post. However most urban FIGURE of SPEECHS that have to do with ANY race are Racist. I could post examples but I'd be no better than those that give the excuse that it isnt just racist - regardless of my multicultural circle.

I can point to an example of an OLD nursery rhyme that to my background and heritage (well its evolution in the western world) that IS racist; even though today most of the age 40yrs old or younger will only know of its modified lyrics. I just wanted to tell you directly just to think before you post ... even if you DIDNT intentially mean to be racist; its seems more than one person can perceive it this way.

> The advantage of the internet is the DEL key and the EDIT key on a site; so if you forgot to think before posting, reread what you posted ... thats why the forum sites reload the page you posted on or to the 1st page to reread what you just posted. If its still not right use the EDIT key. And with that note lets end this conversation about He Said He Intended.

> Sorry mods a quick BAN may have worked for most - but some positive criticism may have been better.
