No signal

Been having an occasional problem with signal strength. Once in a while my 8700c will show no signal at all. I have to turn the unit off and on to get the signal back. Somehow I think its something on Cingular's end as I never had the problem before. But, I also wonder if its an OS problem and an upgrade to a newer OS would help.

Anybody ever experience this?

I would certainly upgrade to a newer OS as they tend to fix radio issues which MAY be impacting you.
