Hi,

I upgraded my 7100T to 4.1.0.309 software, but the browser is missing.
The configuration options are present, but the shortcuts are gone.
Anyone experience this?

Regards,
Silas

Go into Options / Advanced Options and select Host Routing Table.

Click the wheel and select "Register Now" and see if that helps.

pull the battery and put it back in. doing the reset should make it appear again.

I picked up a new 7105t last night. Did the upgrade this morning and no browser.

I tried the two suggestions above, no dice.

I'm going to call customer service when i get a chance.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
Does the top row read GPRS?

Yes, I have the data plan.

When I first brought it home (pre-update) I noticed a couple of things that are different now (post-update)

1) Browser is missing, it was there before. I know because I used it.

2) Post update - AOL IM started sending my messages via SMS (highly annoying)

While I'm here, anyone know how to create new contacts via a web interface? It's painstakingly slow to enter them via the phone.

I use to have a BB 7100t and I remember I could go to a blackberry / tmobile site where I could see all my emails and contacts and make changes, sorta like a desktop version of my phone. Did they do away with that?

I've been away too long...

I recall that you may need to resend yourself your service books. When you log into your mailbox with a computer there should be an option on the page to send service books.

ok, cleared things up. browser is back after talking to customer service, they had to send a few things over but the browser is back now.

also, i don't know what i was smoking, but I am clear now that the pre-installed AOL IM uses your SMS so if you don't have unlimted SMS, don't use it. I'm sure you all already knew that since it's been covered here many times.

ok, back to your regularly schedule program.
