I picked up a 7130C from Cingular about 1 month ago. I recall at the time filling out a rebate form that I think said I'd get a $50 rebate in the form of a Visa gift card.

Yesterday I received a thank you card from the Cingular store that I got the phone. It included a Cingular gift card that can only be used at Cingular stores. There is a stamped note in the back that is mostly unreadable but seems to say Enclosed Gift Card Valued at [ ] Thank You for Your Business. The $ amount is unreadable.

Does anyone know if this is the rebate I was expecting or is it something additonal? Anyone know the value?

That most likely is the rebate you were expecting and I would imagine it is for $50. I think you can check the balance of those on their website. If not, the stores for sure.

That's not the rebate. The rebate will come direct from cingular and is good anywhere they except visa.
