Just received my 7100t off eBay. So far everything works perfectly. Device looks barely used. No pesky IT policies onboard. Updated the OS to 4.1, T-Mobile recognized my new PIN and changed it over automatically, Service Books sent and email being pushed. Battery's being charged as I write. So far life is good!!! One question, on my old BB there was no way to copy my address book from memory to the SIM. Is there a way to copy my addresses to the new BB via Desktop Manager?

Wirelessly posted (BB 7100g: BlackBerry7100/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Copy address book from old BB to outlook via desktop manager then to new BB via desktop manager. Life will be good.

If you don't have outlook, you can tell Intellisync to sync your contacts (from your old BB) to an ASCII file (Intellisync>Configure PIM, select Contacts, click Choose and select ASCII Import/Export. Then you can do the same and import them into your new BB

I used the Intellisync import/export to ASCII tip and it worked for my address book, however it doesn't work so well on calendars that have recurring entries. Example, I have payday for my job as a recurring entry. When I imported it over to the 7100, instead of a single entry that has the codes or data that tells the address book that it is a recurring entry, I now have 58 instances of that one entry. Moreover i bring up the calendar and those entries don't show in the actual day views, but they do show in the agenda view. Strange, but at least my memos, tasks, and address book ported over fine. Thanks to all for the tip and input.
