View Full Version : Problem with 7130C

I bought a 7130c about a month ago. I love the device but almost every time I use the phone I am told by the person on the other end that it sounds like I am on a two way radio, (they ask me if I'm on a Nextel phone.) They also tell me they usually miss the first or second word of every sentence I speak. This happens whether I speak throughthe speakerphone or the handset. The problem is worse if I'm speaking in the car. This does not happen with a few other cell phones that I own, so I don't think it is a reception problem.

I got really frustrated and exchanged the phone for a new one and yet the same thing is happening. Is anybody having the same experience, or have an idea on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any help!

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Nobody has ever told me anything like that before. You might want to try another exchange.

Exchange it for another one. I've never had anyone complain about the call quality when I use this phone

Do you have a case on the phone?
