Trouble restoring data on 8700g

I have been using till now Blackerry 8700c with software 4.1. I made a backup of all data of the device over USB in Desktop Manager.
After I have bought a BB 8700g from T-Mobile, unlocked, I cannot do after connecting to the Desktop Manager a successful restore of the data from the backup file.
The only "restorable" data are "Policy" and "Handheld Agent".
In the menu "Advanced" all data from backup file are marked as "grey".
Could you help me?

It may be becuase thr cingular settings are different that tmobile abd doesn't recognize them...or you can try rebooting ur computer

it didn't work. Desktop Manager sees only Policy and Random Pool. What to do?
