I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the 7520 (or 7250 since they are virtually the same) and the 8700 series??? Is it worth the upgrade? What does the 8700 offer that the 7520/7250 doesn't?

Other than the differance in network compatabilty the 8700 has a faster processer, more memory and a sweet looking screen. The keyboard is a little cramped, but we can adapt.

IMHO, I don't think the upgrade is worth it. The 7250 or 7520 can do everything the 8700 can plus somethings it can't. All of them can use handheld software v4.1. The 7250 (v4.1) has a faster broadband connection (EVDO vs EDGE) than the 8700 (7520 is slow as dirt). The 7520 is the only one of the 3 that has GPS. The big advantages of the 8700 is the faster processor, more memory, and better display. There are other differences, but nothing big enough to make me run out and buy one.

P.S. By no means would I turn an 8700 down if my employeer offered one.

I'd get one if Sprint offered to sell me one. If you currently have either a 7250 or a 7520 and wanted an 8700, you would have to switch to T-mo or Cingular.
