How to open an application with one/two keys?

I have installed a BEIKS dictionary and I use it a lot.

So... do you know any hidden way of opening in one/two keystrokes/combination a specific application?

In short: a keyboard shortcut.

If you install and use Pocket Day, you can create keyboard shortcuts for a few programs. Four, I think.

However, there are no other ways to create keyboard shortcuts.
