With so many views, it's a shame about the 'polls'. It only takes two clicks to vote...

I think the problem is, is that no one knows what exactly this program does. What phones does it work for? What features? What types of ring tones? So with so many questions it is hard to answer that poll. There should be an option that says "not sure" or "undecided". Yes, No and extremely excited really are direct and specific answers.

Once those questions are answered I am sure you will get more votes on your poll.

i would say that it would be welcomed, but it really depends on the price (if free, then good) and functionality. for now, until OS 4.2, without webspace storage (automated uploading, i would imagine), ringtone software is useless for 90% of the users here who have not a clue about web technology. what kind of interface will it have? will it have an audio editor?

*shrug*

Not to burst your bubble but there is already a product out that does this. MiniRingtone for BlackBerry - Personalize Your BlackBerry Ringtone for 7100 and 8700 Series (http://www.simprit.com/miniringtone/index.html)

How will yours be better/different?

I believe that site SPAMs - that for me is a "no go".
www.tuneusin.com doesn't SPAM - that I know for sure....

TUI software

1. Make your own mp3's
2. Make your own adp tones
2. Choose the length of your tone
3. Once created, tones are uploaded to 'your' web space on the TUI server :-o
4. Nice user interface
5. Simple and easy to use
6. Very easy to get tones onto your device (y)

BTW...this software was professionaly designed and produced by an outside, independent company. TUI had no part (except for trial usage) in development.

Thanks for clarifying that, I knew it was prolly something like that. And yes, the demo model is a little buggy because it was not a finished product. We believe the software developer has ironed out all the kinks and haven't run into any issues since its final release. Thanks again for clarifying that, I appreciate it.
