Device Error 499

Any idea anyone?

Unit doesn't boot. Doesn't even give me the error anymore. Just sits blank. I did get the hourglass for a bit, but now it seems completely dead. Not even flashing a red light.

btw, good luck googling this. I get nothing. Even the blackberry support knowledge database has no information on this error.

Sounds like a candidate for an OS wipe and reload.

did that, finally getting it to recognize. it was successful, now it doesn't boot at all. lol. I've called the service provider and they're sending a new handheld.

According to Pinstack, device errors 400 through 564 are Page Faults, and require a reload of the OS.

yeah, I saw that page but couldn't view it cause I need a username/id to login. I don't see the point of registering with 2 bberry support forums and I like this one :)
