Call is connected, but no one can hear anything!!!

I have 8700g on T-Mobile, using Zen Theme, 4.1.309 from Telstra.
Recently I have this issue, I made the calls and received them, it said 'connected' on the screen, but I couldn't hear anything neither the other party.
I was wondering if this is a phone issue or an OS bug? :?
I'm thinking getting the replacement from T-Mobile so I don't know if I should do it or not. And should I install back on the original OS? Thanks,

Had a similar issue a couple mo's back, are you paired to BT headset by chance? My phone also said connected but the headset was picking up...

it hapens just whenever it wants. While i'm using bt headset, handset or even loud speaker. How do fix that issue?

I do not have the cure, but I suffered from what you are speaking of and I blame the network, not the device.
