Well folks, it took me three weeks to finally get my 8700g connected to the Blackberry internet Service through O2. It took four lengthy calls to the service desk and three visits to the shop where I bought the device.
Apparently the problem was that I already had data serices on my account, problem was they were set up for an XDA Exec!
My advice is that, before you sign up, make sure that they competely remove all the software on your profile before replacing it with the Blackberry Internet Sevices.
The good news is that I am delighted with the device now that it is working perfectly. The big test is now when I go back to work in Holland!
