I have Verizon phone 7250. Can I upgrade to Telstra OS to solve my low volume issue? I read somewhere that help people with 8700. It mentioned that you have to set the phone to speaker phone first except I don't think i have speaker phone option on the 7250.

I just found an option "Phone Options" and under "General Options" there is a setting "Default Call Volume" and it has settings "Previous, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%".

Also, in "Phone Options there is a option called "Enhanced Audio" with an option called "Automatic Volume Control" with options to set "Enable and Disable".

Does anybody know what these setting do? Will they help with the ring-tone volume problem?

Please stop posting the same issue/question all over the place. Be patient, as someone will come up with an answer for you...if one exists.

Try below for the latest OS for your Blackberry, though I doubt there was any kind of ringer fix in it. The ringer issue was addressed with the 8700 series.

"Enhanced audio" boosts the volume when the device detects that you're in a loud environment.

Is there a hard modification I can do, like adjusting a Pot inside on the circuit board?

Is there any hardware adjustments that can be done to make the volume loader?
