Ok, so maybe the 8100 didn't live up to everyones expectations, but give RIM some credit for tryin somethin new, and I like where its going. But I feel like since they're trying somethin new here, maybe I should wait on the upgrade to the 8100 model, maybe it will improve on the things we don't like about the 8100 now

I agree 100%. I believe the issues are mostly software/OS and less about the hardware.

I think the hardware build quality is a joke, on one the battery cover release just popped off when you put battery cover on the first time and the other one the trackball was defective...I have never seen another berry with a hardware issue out of the box, cingular dust issue I guess but that did not affect the usability. I swear my prototype was built better
