Security imposed- no 3rd party software

My company just enacted the "no software download" or 3rd party software installation. So this means no useful software like Berry411, GoogleMaps, etc. However, all programs I have installed prior to this policy still works. Any way to bypass this? Is it for OTA download only or will my App Loader still work?

talk to your IT people....don't try to bypass (violate) the policy

...here, here aiharkness! When you speak with the IT people (I'm one of them!) advise them the program you want on your BB, they may well install / allow the policy to install them...

It never hurts to ask, the most they can say is yes, or no!
