Blackberry Leather Holster or Pouch

I have a 7520 and need a better carrying solution than the plastic holster. Can anyone tell me the difference between the leather holster and the leather pouch available on blackberry.com? Does either work better with the 7520 as I have been having a hard time finding cases designed specifically for it.

The Leather Holster has the swivel clip on the back of it and the Leather Pouch has no clip at all. The Leather Case designed specifically for the 7520 model is OEM part number ACC-05505-024 and has a swivel clip on the back of it.

There are 2 OEM RIM leather cases listed at SmartPhone Depot. The one I bought has a slightly different OEM part number than the one you mention. It is part number ACC-05150-001. I have been using this case off and on for about 3 weeks now. Initially this case was EXTREMELY tight. It has gotten better with usage but I still have a couple of issues. One is that it still is difficult to pull the 7520 out of this case. What I have to do is hold the case with my right hand and pull with my left. The main issue is that when I get a call I usually disconnect the call when I try to pull the BB out. I think this is because the escape key gets pushed in by the elastic on the sides.

Tillia, it may be that the case you mention is designed a little differently from the one I have. The main reason I got this case was concern about the standard case causing scratches. I'm still looking for a better solution.

ACC-05150-001 is the Leather Holster that was designed for the 6200 and 7200 Series. (7210, 20, 30 and 80) ACC-05505-024 was designed specifically for the larger profile of the 7520 for Nextel. There is a non-specific to Nextel Leather holster with swivel clip designed for the 7250 and 7290 profiles (will work just fine with a 7520 as well) and it is ACC-08582-001. Again, it is the slighly larger profile on the 7250, 7290 and 7520 series that makes ACC-05150-001 very tight, almost too tight. It was not designed for those models. :0)

Thanks for the info. At least I know now why I've had problems with this case. It would be nice if this case was not promoted as one that will work with the 7520.
