How many contacts in 8703?

Thinking of switching from Treo 700P for many reasons but one question is how many contacts can the 8703 hold?

I have seen a good 1000+ ...if you need more than that, you might want to get an assistant

I have 1621 contacts (most fields use w/ many notes too) in my 8703e... Still very fast!!(y)
