Problems Accessing Secure Sites Using Rogers Public MDS

I'm attempting to access secure websites (HTTPS sites) using Rogers Internet Browser and reqwireless Webviewer with similar negative results.

When using Rogers Internet Browser, I receive the following error message:

"Unable to connect using the current security settings. Please contact your service provider:

When using reqwireless Webviewer to access the same secure page, I receive a similar error to the following:

"java.io.IOException: https Connection Handler does not exist"


What do I need to change on my device to allow me access to secure websites?

What version of BlackberryOS are you using?

Version 3.7.3 should probably work with https URL's. I know my 4.0 works with https URL's with Rogers Internet Browser.

I'm using v3.7.1.41. That's the current release available on Rogers website for the 7780 device.

Where can I get 3.7.3?

As far as I know, it's only available for some carriers, and I think 3.7.1.41 should work too -- but I am not sure.

I have confirmed that it works on my OS 4.0.0.100 although I've had stability problems with the BETA 4.0.0.100 browser (I emphasize this is only a BETA)
