need some assitence please

recently purchased a Blackberry 7100t and people that i call have difficulty hearing me....no scratch that, cant hear me at all!!! :oops: is there a reason for this....and if so can anything be done about it?

Thats just how they are untill they get borken in, Just keep talking on it and before long they will hear you clear as a bell.

Lol sorry I couldn't help myself. Your mic is bad or there speaker is bad. Take it back to where you got it and they will fix you right up. Unless you got it from the 1800 number then your out of luck

No no, what Roughtrader stated is neccessarily true. You mic maybe fine. There have been lots of complaints about the 7100 having bad MIC volume.

I know with mine it was that way until I upgraded the OS to a higher version. check the TMO website and compare your OS on your handheld with the latest OS t-Mobile has listed and upgrade if the TMO version is higher.

You'll find a several threads about MIC volume on here and some solutions.

If you find your MIC is bad... return.
