7520 to 7100i Transfer

I'm not sure why but I can't restore to my new 7100i the backup I made of the files etc. on my 7520. What am I missing?

If I do an advanced restore everything will backup except the address book. Hope that little tidbit of info helps.

I went from the 7520 to the 7100i as well, about a year ago. I didn't do any kind of transfer though. I just connected my 7100i to my computer, and set the BlackBerry Desktop software to do a push from Outlook to the BB only, not sync. That way, the fresh BB got all my current Outlook info., and everything was squared up. Then I changed them to sync, and from then on, changes to either Outlook or the BB would sync perfectly.

You could also try downloading the new Desktop Manager 4.2 and see if the Switch Device Wizard will work for you.
