I posted this on the 8700 board as well, but thought I'd try this as well....
Hi, newbie here.
Don't know if anybody has seen the item about sprint contracts that was posted on rimarkable.com. It basically says that because Sprint increased the cost of text messages from 10 to 15 cents, you can cancel your contract by the end of the month.
Here's my situation. I want to get my first BB (still considering the 8703 and the 7130), but I want to stay on sprint as my fiancee just got the 8703 and the free sprint-to-sprint calls are great for me.
Anybody know if it's possible for me to just cancel my contract and then sign up immediately with a new plan/phone (hopefully a free phone through ebay).
