I have searched thru the forum for this topic, and all the replies say to enable the option under the Browser Options, Browser config..

But, I don't have that option on any of my browsers.. (Internet, Blackberry or Cingular)..

I have a BES account, and a BIS account..

This really hammered me while I was traveling in Europe last month. Before I complain to some of my providers I want to test to see what I can do.. but I can't get this enabled..

Any guidance welcomed

Sam

On my (8700r) from the browser select Optins -> Browser Configuration.
Support JavaScript is a check box second from the bottom.

Yeh, thanks.. not there on mine..

The 4.2 BES server doc for IT policies says it can be disabled..
(don't know version we are running, or what prior version options are available)..

I have a call into my helpdesk

(don't know version we are running, or what prior version options are available)..If your BES admin disabled JavaScript then you wont see the option. Nothing you can do unless you are moved to an IT Policy that allows does not resctrict JavaScript.

Well, it turns out that when I installed te Telstra version, via the desktop manager, I didn't select to install Javascript support
