Error code 302: BES 4.1 and Office communicator 2005

Hi all,

I have BES 4.1.2 installed, also have a live communicator server 2005. I installed the Enterprise Messenger on the handheld, and whenever I try to login, it just attempts to connect, but that's it.
I also get the error code 302 in the logs. any advice?

When installing BES 4.1.2 which option did you select:
a) LCS/windows messenger
b) LCS/office communicator

office communicator requires that you have Communicator Web Access configured.

on the device you will also need a specific application.

Enterprise messenger 1.1.11 (windows messenger) or Enterprise messenger 1.1.7 (office communicator)

You may want to remove and install msmq again for some reason I have seen it work.

Give that a try and let us know.

Hi,

tried that. Users are able to login to CWA, enterprise messenger for office communicator is installed on handhelds, also the service is running on the BES, but still cant connect the handheld to the office communicator.

also turned on the BBIM logging, and it only gives me an error 302.

any ideas? Please help!!!

Your Ajax is either set up wrong, or the permissions are messed up on it. You might want to find another application that uses AJAX to connect to LCS to test things out. I had to run through this with RIM at one point too. 302 = your BES cant talk with LCS via AJAX/OCWA.
