A Few Questions

Hi All,

My first post here.
I have a couple of questions I hope someone will be able to solve.

1. Tasks - sometime when a task is due an alarm is not sound and the over due task is not showing up on screen. I'm talking about a recurring weekly task. The task is showing on the BB with alarm but it is not sounds. If I soft reset the BB then when the BB turned on it shows task is over due and the alarm is sound.

2. Phone - Is there a way to make the phone ring more then 3 times?

3. Address Book - Why not all contact info from Outlook are showing in the BB Address Book? What are the field sync to the BB? Is there a way to work around this?

Hi...

I am unable to help you with your issues #1 and #3, but I can with #2. To increase the number of rings prior to going to voicemail you must call Cingular customer service. They can do it. My understanding is that they don't actually set x number of rings, but they set something so that it rings for y seconds. I think the normal maximum is 25-30 seconds. Anything longer is apparently not suggested.
