Any idea how to fix this problem.

Keep having it on my :bb: 7730 and I alway need to reset it.

i'd say the short answer would be to reinstall the OS and not install anything extra afterwards. the error means, per RIM, "The application manager event thread threw an uncaught exception and so cannot continue execution."

Set Automatically resend IT Policy to "0" hour (disabled) in the Blackberry Server Properties.

Problem gone!

We are using BES 4.0 and 7290 handhelds. One of our users has reported the "JVM Error 200" as a repeat problem (the message disappears each time he removes and replaces the battery). I have checked our IT Policy and it is set to 0 as suggested above. Does anyone else have any further suggestions to prevent the errors?

Thanks

Re-installing the OS resolved this issue for me and it has not re-occured.

Many thanks,

Sally.

Sorry if this is a really obvious question. Do you mean re-install the Operating System on the BES?? We only have the server built as recommended by RIM (with no extra applications). The problem only seems to be affecting one user.

OK, so now I've worked out it's the OS on the handheld device that needs upgrading (getting there slowly). I've looked on the Blackberry site and cannot see an OS download for a 7290. We have Platform version 1.8.0.121 and Blackberry Version 4.0.0.198. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
