BES and Verichat

Would it make any difference if I decided to pay the monthly fee for hosted BES for use with instant messenger. I have the sprint 8703e and currently use verichat. It works ok but I was wondering if it would be better if I was using BES. Thanks

nope shouldnt make a difference for the IMing portion, i would give yak-on, ramble, or IM+ a try before you shell out for hosted BES, yak-on is a one time fee if you decide to keep it and and works pretty well. i use an older build of it as the 8703e's and the new versions don't seem to get along super well, they still work it just takes longer for the buddy list to draw..

however: hosted BES is pretty sweet and has it's own perks, it should not directly affect your IM performance though
