Blackberry 8700g as a modem for PDA WM5

I'm new of this.. Do you know if is possible to use Blackberry as a EDGE modem for PDA with Windows Mobile 5 and how?

It is not. There is no way to pair the two devices. You can use the 8700 as a modem for a PC only.

Thanks for your post saying it "just couldnt be done" with a PDA running Windows Mobile 5, but why not. If you connect the device to the BB using a USB cable all you would need on the PDA would be the modem driver files for the BB (as supplied for the Windows OS on the BBerry Sync Disk).


So is this still true or have BBery developed / released driver files for the modem for WM5 ?

I'm not sure I understand your question. What are you trying to accomplish?
Are you trying to connect a BB to a WM 5 device? It can't be done. There are no drivers on the BB to do so.
