It's not a big deal, but boy does it sure hurt sometimes. You know the sound. "duuh doooo deeee" repeated 3 times. Can I turn this off? Thanks so much, Keith

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.8 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

There are some threads about this. No, I am pretty sure you are out of luck. It IS LOUD and very Annoying.

We might have to sue them for making us loose some of our hearing.

If the the call does not go through a small beep or message is all that is needed.

Have you tried hitting the end button? You don't have to listen to all three iterations unless you really want to...

One dooh dooo deee still gets through, then, yes, I hit the end button. I really used to love my BB, but anymore... Here is my plan. Every time I get that ear pierce tone, I slam the phone into the side of the steering wheel. When it breaks, I will go get a phone that can look at all web pages, doesnt make annoying tones in my ear, and..... and.... you can turn off the keytone when dialing numbers in a confrence call or meeting. I have really enjoyed my BB and it has been a great product, but I am about to move on..... Thanks for letting me vent.
