Unable to shut down AIM on 7100t

I'm unable to shut down AIM on my 7100t. Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated!

I had a similar problem like that with IM+ when I was shutting down from MSN on that program. Restarting it didn't help, I had to pull the battery out and reinsert the battery in order to get the handheld to shut the program down. I have a 7290 though, so i'm not sure how effective this will be with a 7100 series phone. I guess its worth a try.

When I log off AIM from my blackberry it acts like I logged off, but it does not actually log me off. People still see me online and can send me messages, which appear as SMS message on my 7100t. Any ideas?

I called T-Mobile. They told me to turn my phone off. They then completely took my phone completely off the network and put it back on. After that everything worked perfectly.

I've been logging off and on without problems.
