USING AIM ON BB 8703e?

I recently downloaded ramble and wnat to know from those of you who use Ramble is there and indicator as to when u receive message wtihout having to constantly look at the screen. ie. like the sound of an IM message sent like when using regular AIM. If where do i turn on that feature?

thanks. Also seems like there is no way of changing the sound the tone makes cause its definelty no loud enough when having it out of the holder on a desk laying face up
