When in an SMS sequence I like how each entry appears much like using IM, but when it's over can I delete all the entries at once? I seem to have to delete them one at a time like emails.

You can go up to the date above the entries, click the wheel and choose 'delete prior'. That will remove them all. This also works for email.

If you want to select a group of messages and delete them, press and hold the # key while scrolling up or down. Then select menu and delete messages.
