Why do I get a big fat RED X telling me the message could not be sent and it couldn't find original message????

That sounds like the forwarding issues people were talking about when BIS 2.0 first launched:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-blackberry-discussion/38908-problem-unique-bis-2-0-a.html?highlight=forward+BIS+2.0

From what I understand, under BIS 2.0, once you send an email, since there's no online storage with BIS 2.0, there's not much you can do to manipulate that message.

One workaround for your specific scenario, however, is to follow these steps:

1) Compose and send an email

2) Open the sent email on your BlackBerry

3) Click the scroll and choose Edit from the menu

4) Make your changes, click the scroll and choose Send

I use this method without problems on my 8703e with BIS 2.x.

I just found that 'edit' option today...never noticed it before. It does work.

Never resting, never still.
Moving silently from hill to hill.
It does not walk, run or trot,
All is cool where it is not.

What is it?

I've found that, after you get the red x, you click "resend," the message will be sent without further problems.

Works like a charm, thank you.
