User stuck on GSM

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this issue.
We have over a hundred Blackberry handhelds in our organisation, the majority are 7100v (Vodaphone contract in the UK).

One of these users (just one) is stuck on GSM.
Removing the battery to perform a soft reset is seemingly the only way to get it to use GPRS. However, it always reverts back to GSM after a short period.

I've seen some other posts (from last year mainly) blaming the network but conidering the number of users who are unaffected, I don't consider this a possibility.

Sim not provisioned correctly on GPRS would be my first guess.

2nd would be flaky handset..

Are you the BES admin? If so try resending the service books to the BB in question, assuming you have't tried to do so already.

Another thing worth trying, to see if it's the BB or a service problem..swap out the SIM card for another of your orgainsations BB SIM's.
