OK, BB 7750's, BES 4.0, and Outlook. The problem is when users delete out of their Outlook inbox the messages are still staying on their 7750. Email reconciliation has Delete On set to Mailbox and Handheld.
Does anyone have some suggestions as to what is going on and why the emails are not deleted from the 7750?
Thanks

Happens to me all the time. I have the same setup.
FIRST, be sure that the messages have actually been deleted, that is, moved to the deleted items. If you move them to another folder, that won't count and you will have to delete them out of the BB manually. Then click "Reconcile Now" and the BB will update. The handheld should be on version 4 as well.
The "Delete on" option only applies to deleting from the handheld.
If you use shift+del to delete messages (bypassing the deleted items folder) then they will not be removed from the handheld.
You can try going into options on the handheld and turning off wireless reconcile, then turn it back on.
I have also run into a case where turning off wireless reconcile on the handheld actually turned it on. But that was a one off case.
Oh, also remember that reconciliation can take up to 20 minutes.

Ok, the handhelds are at v4.0.0.171. The users are not using shift+del when deleting. Well, I would say most aren't as they don't know that trick. Some may be moving the items to other folders but on the unit I'm testing the issue with I am not. It's been 17 hours since I deleted an email from my inbox and the email is still on the BB. Just now turned off/on reconciliation so will see how that goes. If one has to constantly click "reconcile now" to update, yikes :-(
Thanks

Same as <shift-delete>, make sure the messages stay in Deleted Items. If Outlook is set to automatically empty the Deleted Items folder on exit, or Deleted Items is emptied manually before BES can reconcile, the messages will be stuck on the handheld.
