So I can't get any themes to work on my Blackberry. Here is the run down.
I have a 7100g I have updated my software to 4.1. I have downloaded a plazmic reader and downloaded many different themes for my phone. I have also done a hard reset many times. They are not appearing under themes. I can go to advanced options and applications and they are in there. Everything is set to allow and still nothing. Can someone please help with my dilemma. It would be greatly appreciated.

is anyone out there? Am I suppose to be able to download the .cod files on things??

Do you have other theme(s) installed currently on your phone?
If so how many? If you do happen to have other theme(s) loaded on your phone remove one or two of the current theme(s) and try loading the new one. Your phone does have limits on how many theme(s) it can store or use at any one time. The limit of course will depend on many factors like how many other apps you have and the total amount of memory being used.

Have you tried to load theme(s) via ota yet?

the first time i tried i missed something in the set up follow these promps to the t and reload your soft ware go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files delete the loader files for your hand set then download again from http://www.blackberryforums.com/ringtones-themes-wallpaper-discussion/28821-blackberry-alx-edited-files-packaged-theme-installation-4-1-4-2-only.html
delete vendor.xml load edited blackberry.alx for your phone then launch dm and llet it install your handheld os the newest handheld os for your phone i beleave iis the one from csl hongkong:smile:

Hi are you trying to load the themes individully or are you trying to reload the entire software? because that makes a hudge difference in if it will go through. Also when you are loading it how long does it take to load to the phone?

Unfortunately,

some themes don't work for the BB. For my 7100, I could never get the O2 theme to work...but all the others did. I'm sure there's a work around...just depends on how much you want it! =)

I had the O2 theme working on my 7100t-when I had it. It was my favorite. I used the O2 icon them exclusively..... I think I just removed the vendor ID's from the .alx to get them. That 7100t seems like an eternity ago already....Love the Pearl!

Not to steal this thread or anything...

I played with a Pearl yesterday...can't say I am impressed. There's no scroll wheel and the thing is too small...it's almost like a blackberry wannabe!! Stciking with my 7130 =) to each his own!

Greetings All::
I just upgraded the software on my 7100i...I show that the theme viewer is on the device BUT I can only use one theme and the others dont show up on my themes list. I tried everything suggested in this thread yet nothing has worked.
Please help.
