I just got a replacement 8700c from Cingular and was about to reinstall Google Maps, but deceided to try BB Maps. I like Google's app way better. You can use it as a telephone directory to search out business phone numbers as well, which is very helpful. Now I want to remove BB Maps. How do I do this?

options > advanced options > applications

find it on the list, click the wheel, select delete

The maps app is not listed in the list. I have also tried modules and cannot find it there either.

That's right it's called something else on the list. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. Can you post the list of apps you have? Hopefully you don't have too many. I'll remember when I see it though.

I deleted the LBS app and BB Maps is still in the menu and will still run. I checked and the LBS app does not show up...

Thoughts?

There is a thread somewhere here but you have to delete the modules too.
