Prepending Numbers on Calls

Is it possible to prepend a code or phone number on the Blackberry before it dials a number in its address book?

I have a user at work who wants to know this as well. i was under the impression that under phone options, smart dialing feature will take care of this but it doesn't.....

So....bump this for more answers..
