Have HS810 / 7100t - need more volume

Am satisfied (marginally) with volume on phone itself, Speakerphone is great, but the HS810 is too quiet except in very low ambient noise.

Is the M3500 any better? I've heard fairly good things about it.

I really, really like the HS810, it works great, the flip-off is good, not having something INSIDE my ear is nice (but contributes to the problem), battery lasts forever due to that and my limited use, but it is really marginal in the car, and worthless on a warehouse floor or outside.

PS. T-mobile with the 4.0 software.

I had the same issue with my 7100t using an HS810 and an HS850. It looks to be a problem with the software upgrade to 4.0 and may affect the handset volume as well (I really couldn't say as I almost exclusively use the headset) .

If you downgrade to 3.8, the headset volume will be much louder and be easily heard in all but the noisiest environments.

I haven't received my replacement HS810 from Motorola, but the M3000 I picked up in the mean time seems to have better volume (and better sound quality on the other end).
