It's possible.. My Cingular rep knows about the 8800 and thinks it will be out Late January-Early February.

This is a quote from an article at:New Year Won't Stop Research In Motion - Forbes.com (http://www.forbes.com/2006/12/28/rim-subscribers-wireless-markets-equity-cx_mk_1228markets07.html?partner=yahootixIn) addition to the existing multimedia and Internet applications offered on the BlackBerry devices, Sanderson expects the integration of the global positioning system, on the Indigo, slated to launch in February, will take the product to new heights.

I think it should be. Unless you have something reliable to post as confirmation, then we have enough posts about the rumored released date that can be added to.

If it does release in January that'd be great, but since there have been no leaks on the normal sites that post that kind of info, I'm not counting on it.

I hope it is delayed... so stock goes down.. then i buy stock... and then it comes out...and every crackberry addict buys the new one... and this model gives them even more reason to ignore their family, friends and co-workers.

Yawn.

Yes, this will be closed. Save the rumor-mongering for the Rumor Mill. I'm sorry if this garners another ego-bruising thumbs down (*gasp*), but rumors with no proof have no place here. Either take it to the Rumor Mill, where you can speculate all you want, add to the couple of speculation-based threads already in this forum, or post some proof.

Like it or not, but people come here for GOOD information. Provide some, and the thread stays open. Random speculation with no evidence is restricted on purpose.

It makes me laugh how negative this policy is viewed, particularly when there are plenty of threads still in existance with nothing but speculation and random discussion.

But, if we expected everyone to understand that, life would sure be boring.
