What does this mean? Am I really never supposed to never delete it?

Do you have a BIS or BES account (I am guessing BIS - BlackBerry Internet Service). I believe you probably installed Desktop Manager and told it you were using the BlackBerry Desktop Redirector.

If you did install DM with the Redirector option, you must completely remove it, and then reinstall DM without selecting the Desktop Redirector option.

No on the redirector option. I installed Blackberry Internet Service.

Looks like you were doing Enterprise Activation.

Where you trying to set up your corporate email into your BlackBerry?

If I did, it was by accident.

How do I undo it?

...How do I undo it?...
Delete any services books that reference either BES or Redirector. Go to Options/Advanced Options/Service Books.

In a worst case, you can delete them all and then reinstall only the Service Books you need. The BIS Website will have a link to resend the service books for BIS email reconciliation and Web browsing. Google Talk service books can be restored by reinstalling the applicaiton.
