Windows Crashing when I connect 8700G

I just installed the desktop manager 4.2 and connected my Blackberry 8700 G. As soon as I set the connection settings and set ok after detecting the BB , the system crashes. Has anybody seen this before ?

Although I am able to connect the BB successfully to other laptop.

I have had this happen to me, and I am unsure of the actual cause. I did notice that when I would pop the battery out of the BB for about 10 to 15 seconds, put in back in and then try to sync with Outlook, that the issue would go away. Worth a shot! :-o
