blackberry pearl help

i have a blackberry pearl and im not very happy due to the lack of applications. i basicly have a camera and a music player. how do you guys get all those new games and applications on yours.

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan? If so, check out the Aftermarket Software thread. There are lots of 3rd party apps available to suit your needs. If you don't have a Blackberry Data Plan then you are very limitied. There are a few games/apps that you can install via Desktop Manager but most of the fun stuff requires a BB data plan.

I agree, once you get a data plan you will find that there are plenty of apps to keep you happy and entertained.

is the data plan the internet plan for like 20 bucks . and i fi dont have it what can i get on my blackberry via desktop software

There are a few out there that can be downloaded via the Desktop Manager. However, most of them are downloaded via the browser directly to your BB. You really need a BB data plan. With TMo it runs 19.99 and with Cingy I think it's 29.99. You basically have a phone with a nice organizer.

Your blackberry is pretty crippled without a data plan. Pony up and spend the $20, you will fall in love.
