I have just got a replacement 8707v from Vodafone as the initial unit failed to transfer any SIM contacts from my old phone and this unit has the same problem. I got this directly from Vodafone but I visited a store of theirs when the initial one did not work and the guy tried other models which seemed to read the SIM. Dont know what to do as Vodafone said that they have had no reported compatibility issues with this model. onty thing I can think of is to load my contacts from the old Sony Ericsson phone onto my computer and then download them onto the 8707v but I dont know how to do this. Any suggestions would be great!
