View Full Version : 7250 Sprint SMS texting issue

I have been receiving all my emails as of late but not texts. I have had this problem once before and Sprint had me take the batter out and then dial a * something number. For the life of me I can not remember what that number was (it was a recording, not a live person)

I just looked at my BB and I am getting 5 bars but the little graphic that usually shows up on the left hand side beside the battery indicator is no longer showing up.

So my question is two fold. Do any of you know what I can do to fix this? Or would any of you happen to know that number I need to call in order to "complete the reset"? (I assume that is what I did when I took the battery out and then called that number

*228 or *22899? To refresh the PRL?

I beleive that is it.

The screen says "activating", but there is a computer asking me what I want to do (1 to check account balance, 2 to check my account minutes, etc)

Very weird. After two minutes it says hold to talk to a customer service rep, then when I hang up the BB it says "Warning:activation failed"

So I am guessing this is going to be another fun adventure with Sprint customer support.
