I recently purchased a used BB 7130. It's in great condition but has about 400 contacts in the address book. Please tell me there a way that I can erase all of the contacts at once?!! It will take me hours to do it one by one.

Thanks!

Go to Options->Security Options->General Settings (it might be Settings->Options->Security Options->General Settings). On the General Settings page, click the wheel and select Wipe Handheld.

When I do that I get a message that says "warning, all application data will be lost". Is that a bad thing? Sorry if this is a silly question. I'm new to this. I got the phone off ebay and I just want all of the former users info gone so I can add my own.
Thanks

I didn't see "Wipe Handheld" on my Pearl.

Wipe handheld will just erase data - it will not remove an old IT policy or erase the applications

I had a situation when I had double and triple entries for the same contact. I used the Desktop Manager to delete the data and then allowed the BB to wirelessly re-sync.
