now I'm running into a different one.

also, I'm on cingular and I'm using ISPDA@<hidden> and the password is CINGULAR1

so i don't know what could be the problem.

don't use the capitalized command found on other pages.



does anyone know how to increase the speeds? I'm getting 115KB and I heard you can go up to 900KB.

with the speak easy test I get only 218 kbps download and 78 kbps upload. I'm impressed however... web pages load as fast as my cable connection with only a 5 second wait for the page to process. But the info loads just as fast as my cable.

Good depends on what you are paying for.
If you are paying for 10mb download, the 5857 stinks. If you are paying for 6mb download, it's great.
Check with your ISP.
